About

A small studio that makes, prints and frames by hand.

Our studio

A small print studio with a big wall of ideas

Easel started on a kitchen table with one proofing press and a box of offcuts. Today we print for sixty independent artists, frame every order in our own workshop and still check each print by eye before it is wrapped.

Visit us on a Saturday to see the presses running and the new prints going up on the wall.

  • Printed on cotton-rag paper

Archival inks that keep their colour for decades.

  • Framed in solid wood

Oak and walnut mouldings cut and joined in the studio.

  • A fair share for every artist

Each artist is paid on every print we sell.
